The latest update from Maestro is that new applicants to animeblogger may have to wait a while more for their blogs. He is still working very hard to try and fix our server load problem. (Trust me. This is serious business. We're always having to move the big blogs around the dedicated servers...)
The good news is that once that's done, we might start seeing more new blogs once more. In the meantime, Maestro and I have something else in mind.
Are any of you new applicants willing to share a blog with an existing blogger? You should all know of impz's harem of bloggers, right? Well, it's the same idea, except that you probably won't get to work with the great Impz sama, since he is pretty picky over his team.
All existing AB bloggers, any of you guys looking for co-bloggers or are simply willing to share space?
Interested parties, please contact Maestro (don't PM him here in the forums as he doesn't check often) by email. If possible, drop by in #animeblogger at IRCHighway to see if any one of the existing bloggers there are hunting for co-bloggers (for those of you who still know how to use IRC. Those who don't please use the Java IRC applet.)
Put simply, this blog sharing initiative might just do AB a whole lot of good. Aside from keeping our server usage low, we might just be able to produce another THAT Animeblog. This initiative is for the greater good.
Also, in the meantime, PLEASE BE MORE ACTIVE HERE IN THE FORUMS. It's really sad to see not much happening at all... Well, not much intelligent activity, at least... _________________ Anti-spam attack drake in action... |

Yes, it's the second option. |

blog sharing is a viable option and also promote community spirit (if any) among fellow bloggers under the name.
it was also in one my aims when i requested for my blog.
however, the cons are that the owner of the blog must always ensure guidelines are adhered and strictly followed to the animeblogger TOS.
the owner must always vet and ensure the content uploaded by the members of the blog are within limits. |

| I applied for a blog back at the end of last year, but never got a reply or a confirmation email. Should I email again, or do I need to wait until hosting applications are open again? |

Actually, I'm on the same end. The hosting space is up and running(I checked FTP and it did register the space), but I never got any emails concerning passwords and usernames to be able to login and use the space.
Did I get missed out? Did the emails run haywire on gmail? Or do I really have to wait? |
